Everyone knows they spent quite a bit of time in Florida and learned to fly in Vero Beach but there is not much talk about their time in Tampa. I have a friend Jimmy who has a magazine stand at the Flea Market in Oldsmar. One day while he had customers in line for checkout at the cash regester, 4 men of middle east appearance and accents came in and interrupted him. "Where are your magazines on Flying??",  they demanded.  Jimmy replied "There are some out in the isle on that book stand".  A few minutes later they returned and took him by the arm, away from his customers and open cash regester, out to the isle, demanding, "Where are they!"  Jimmy was upset but showed them Flying Magazine and Private Pilot.  " No No we want the magazines on commercial airplanes like the 757!"  Jimmy said he didnt have any and they went away. This was in the summer before 911. Jimmy identified 3 of them (below) as those who went down on the Pennsylvania flight. He called a friend at the FBI and told him what had happened.

The other person with them at the time is described by Jimmy as "No I don't know what happened to the 4th guy. He  was a little dude and not in the pics. I guess he is still out there somewhere"

Now for the Bank of America Tower downtown Tampa...Tampa's Tallest Building and could considered a US Icon.

Jamie  worked near the top floor of the Bank of America building here in Tampa.  She saw two of these men with two others un-identified, many times in the lobby and near the bank inside this tallest building in Tampa ( and near Central Command at McDill I might add ) Summer before 911.
 

Just after 911, she recognized two of the men from photos on the web and in papers but has no idea what happened to the other 2 that were with them... She was suspicious of them at the time in the summer and reported them to security in the building and asked security what they were doing hanging around. One day she made eye contact as though to say "hi" and got a nasty look back. Security said there was nothing they could do unless they broke the law.

I reported all of this on the FBI website shortly after 9/11 and never got a reply. No one seems to want to know or care.

If something happens here in Tampa I want a clear conscience. I have never seen it mentioned that these men were in Tampa and I think it might be important. It may be wise to learn who the others were with them too but memories fade as time goes on if one has to look through tons of photos.

Perhaps you can sense that I am frustrated by all of this.

All local radio and TV Stations.

Not one person from the above agencies showed any intrest or followed up to interview Jimmy or Jamie!

I spoke to two different agents at FBI Tampa, one was a female agent.
Then I sent email to rewardsforjustice.net and here is the reply I got:

She said she would call security for me.

JOHN EVANS called me from security and said someone else would probably be calling me.
Someone called me from 813 837 4940 BOA Security and I told him the story
He did not seem intersted, I asked his name and he hung up.

I called Margaret back and told her what happened
She was defensive... When asked for phone number of John Evans,
She would not give it to me. Would not co-operate at all as she did previously.

Spoke to Brown at approx 12.15 but he was with a customer.
I gave him very brief story.
He said he would call me back. 2.00 pm no call back.
I called him back ... he was not interested in discussing.
I asked for number of his superior... he gave me:
908 7954 Laurie Swink... spoke with her at 2.21 she is in admin.
She took all info and said she would work on it.. gave her my nr.
3 days later and nothing back from Laurie Swink!

12 noon 21 May 2003 called Laurie Swink back but she is on vacation.
Spoke to Dianna Riedman and she said she would contact security again.
and hopefully someone would call me. She seemed to be aware of situation.
